Беруть звіра — висоту в плечах 65–90 см, слід 9–12 см, прямий опущений хвіст, статус у Червоній книзі чи в мисливському обліку — і показують, що саме видно неозброєним оком і звідки це відомо: IUCN, обліки Держлісагентства, Бернська конвенція. Принцип простий: якщо після тексту можна самому звірити розмір, біотоп і правовий статус і зрозуміти, чому сірий силует ще лишається «великим псовим», а не вовком, матеріал зробив свою роботу. На сайті є паспорти диких тварин і комах України: як виглядають, де живуть, чим живляться, коли їх побачити і чи безпечна зустріч. Поруч — таблиця видів із розміром, вагою, активністю й статусом. Мова спокійна, без гучних обіцянок і без поради «щось із твариною робити», якщо вид не підтверджено.
