Only if you really think about crocodile cruise
in Darwin?!
The first time I pulled over to join a crocodile watching trip, I was still in the first stage
of finding my footing as a new tour leader running the Stuart Highway trek.
I'd stop at the historic Adelaide River crossing to boil up
a cuppa, swat the mozzies from my feet & admire a view that looked peaceful.
It didn’t occur to me back then that just below the surface – and I
mean right on it – lay some of the most powerful crocodiles on the planet just
ready for action, a tour boat & then – whoosh
out of the water they'd launch like a pair of those scaled express trains.
